Rik Dubbink
Founder, Samraemi
Supporting companies in consistent strategy, execution and development on AI — with over 33 years of C-level experience across IT, management, HR and leadership to back it up.
The professional story
Rik studied History at Leiden University and followed up with a postdoctoral programme in Information Analysis at Utrecht — an unusual combination that turned out to be exactly right. Understanding how organisations evolve over time, combined with a deep grasp of information systems, became the foundation of a career spent at the intersection of people, technology and leadership.
He spent over two decades as Partner & CTO at Fellowmind, co-building the company from the ground up into one of Europe’s leading Microsoft partners, with over 2000 employees driving customer experience across manufacturing, agricultural, finance, professional services and utility sectors. He served as Director of the Board in Gothenburg and as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board at CRM Partners AG in Germany — giving him hands-on experience of governing and scaling organisations across multiple countries and cultures.
In March 2026, after 21 years at Fellowmind, Rik founded Samraemi — channelling everything he’d learned about what makes organisations succeed and fail into a consulting practice built entirely around one word: consistency.

Beyond the boardroom
The same philosophy that drives Samraemi shows up clearly in how Rik lives outside of work. He is a serious and passionate cyclist — equally at home on a road race bike and a gravel bike, and no stranger to suffering in the mountains.
He has completed some of the most demanding Gran Fondos in Europe, including Il Maratona dles Dolomites in Italy and the legendary Ötztaler Radmarathon in Austria — 238km and over 5,500 metres of climbing in a single day. It takes a very particular kind of consistency to get through events like those.
Away from the bike, Rik has an equal passion for fine dining and exceptional wines. Discipline and pleasure are not opposites — if you do both well and consistently, they reinforce each other.

Giving back — Right To Play
Samraemi is proud to support Right To Play — a global charity that protects, educates, and empowers children to rise above adversity through the power of play. For 25 years, Right To Play has been reaching children in some of the world’s most difficult places: in Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Indigenous communities in Canada, helping them stay in school, heal from trauma, overcome prejudice, and build the skills they need to thrive. Today they reach over 4.7 million children, 105,000 educators and 86 refugee communities every year.
Consistency matters in charity just as much as it does in business. That is why Samraemi commits to donating to Right To Play with every invoice issued. If the work we do together also helps a child somewhere in the world get a better chance at life, that feels like exactly the right kind of return.
